Note to AOL & CS2000 Users
If your system Color Palette supports 64 thousand colors or greater and while using the integrated AOL web browser the image files that you view on this web site and other web sites appear with poor quality, this may be caused by your AOL cache server preference setting. To change this setting to improve the quality of the images that you view on the Internet, disable graphics file compression in AOL by following these steps.
Users of AOL 3.0 for Windows:
Users of AOL 4.0 and 5.0 for Windows will find the option to disable graphics file compression under:
MyAOL | Preferences | WWW | Web Graphics
Users of AOL 6.0 and 7.0 for Windows will find the option to disable graphics file compression under:
Settings | Preferences | Internet Properties | Web Graphics
Users of AOL 4.0 and 5.0 for Mac will find the option to disable graphics file compression under:
MyAOL | Preferences | WWW
Users of CompuServe CS2000 will find the option to disable graphics file compression under:
Access | Preferences | WWW | Web Graphics
Empty your browser's cache to force the reloading of previously viewed images, then logoff AOL (or CS2000) and logon again. You should now be able to view images on the Internet as the artist intended them to be seen.
For an improved Internet experience, connect to AOL, minimize the AOL Window and then use an independent web browser instead of the AOL integrated browser. Netscape, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Apple Safari and Microsoft Internet Explorer are good alternative choices.
